What are lower denture implants?
Lower Denture Implants are either full or partial dentures made for your bottom jaw with the improved comfort of being fastened securely in place.
Partial dentures are used when there are teeth remaining in your bottom jaw, and dentures are created to replace the few missing teeth. Full lower dentures are used when there are no teeth remaining in the bottom jaw and a full denture is required.
The final result is achieved by placing titanium Implants into the lower jaw in a fast and painless procedure that enable the denture/s to sit comfortably and securely in place.
What are the benefits?
There are several benefits to lower denture implants.
- They have an added level of comfort, as lower dentures are more likely to move as they do not have the added assistance of suction that upper dentures are awarded.
- They improve your confidence to eat, smile and speak with ease.
- Implants assist with jaw bone preservation and prevent deterioration as when you are missing teeth there is less stimulation in the jaw bone to promote growth.
- Improved jaw appearance, as with jaw bone preservation, the appearance of your jaw can be sustained with implants as they assist in supporting the structure of your jaw and face.
How long will they last?
Denture implants can last between 20 to 25 years as they are long lasting and hard wearing being crafted from titanium. The dentures that sit atop your implants last approximately 7 years with proper care, but this can vary between patients based on maintenance, physiological structure and other factors.
How much do they cost?
The cost of Lower denture implants varies based on a number of biological and medical factors as well as requirements, such as – are you in need of a full or partial lower denture? Partial denture implants may require less implants and potentially reduce the cost.

How does the Procedure Work?
Phase 1 – Implants
Consisting of up to three trips to the clinic, your dentist will place dental implants in the most precise manner. Your jaw will be healed between 3-5 months including fusion between the implant and your bone.
Phase 2 – Dentures
After the implants are successfully healed and there is no swelling to distort the dentures, we start by creating the initial impression. The steps can vary from client to client, but these are the required steps:
